On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to further carry forward and practice the great spirit of the founding of the Party and fully display the style of the heroic city in the new era, on the morning of July 1st, Nanchang will hold the "July 1st" flag-raising ceremony at the Bayi Square with the theme of "Carrying Forward the Patriotic Spirit and Marching Forward on a New Journey".

The flag-raising ceremony this time was carried out by the flag-raising formation composed of the Nanchang Detachment of the Jiangxi Provincial Armed Police Force. At 06:30 on that day, the warm-up event will begin. The Heroic Police Band will give a live performance, with the pieces being "Unity is Strength", "Love My China", and "Without the Communist Party of China, There Would Be No New China".

At 06:36, the flag-raising ceremony will officially begin. Accompanied by the "March of the Chinese People's Liberation Army", the flag guard formation will set off from the waiting area on the east side of the August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Tower, pass through Jinshui Bridge, and march towards the flag platform. About five minutes later, the Heroic Police Band will play the "March of the Volunteers", the flag bearers will raise the flag, and the people on the scene will stand solemnly and pay their respects.

After the flag-raising ceremony, a special group photo interaction session will also be set up. At that time, the flag guard formation will enter the interactive area, take photos with the audience on the spot, and sing songs such as "Strong Military Song", "When That Day Comes", and "The Motherland Will Never Forget" together, expressing patriotic feelings. The Heroic Police Band will take photos and interact with the audience on site.
