On the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to carry forward the great spirit of the founding of the Party and fully display the style of the heroic city in the new era, on the morning of July 1st, Nanchang held a flag-raising ceremony at the August 1st Square with the theme of "Carrying Forward the Patriotic Spirit and Marching Forward on a New Journey". Citizens and tourists from all over the country gathered at the scene, gathering the tremendous power to forge ahead in the new era with solemn and dignified ceremonies and sincere and passionate feelings for the country and the family.
At 6:25, the bright red Party flag slowly unfurled. 210 Party members from all walks of life in the city stood solemnly, raised their right fists and took the oath facing the Party flag. The resounding oaths echoed across the square, each word weighty and questioning the original aspiration. This oath-taking ceremony was led by Xu Nuo, a "Good Person of China" and a model worker of Jiangxi Province. He guided all the Party members present to review their original aspirations for joining the Party and look back on their journey of hard work.
